Short Story Three AM, and the train chugs along; destination, Paddington Station. Two men sit separately, sipping their coffees, fatigue lingering on their eyelids as the cadence of the train's journey gently lulls them to sleep. Both men wear drab, wrinkled blazers, and both hold worn leather briefcases on their laps. The first man is tall and thin, almost emaciated, with sunken eyes and a face just as wilted. Four seats ahead of him, the other man is a clean-cut black man, with a handsome face and a generally suave appearance.Short Story

RiverRiver. Lead me through the forest. Weaving through the trees, I'll follow. Wandering, a nomad. But there's really no need to stop, is there? You see, a river is a wonderful thing. Skilled: An expert at navigating even when there's no clear destination set ahead. Carefree: Skipping through the rocky terrain. Happy: You must be in a place like this. So beautiful. Nature. A deer. Drinking from a river. Relaxing as the song of nature fills its ears, bringing its senses to the point where they overflow and mix together. Taste becomes scent; scent, a song. Pause. A noise. Rustling. Senses screaming. Birds call a warning. A fox, it's a fox. Eyes wilRiver
